  How do I open an Edgars Credit account?

Simply visit any Edgars store with:

  • Your National ID,
  • Proof of residence in the form of either a water bill or electricity bill (and a photo copy of the same should you wish to retain the original. You can also bring a letter from the Landlord acknowledging that you lease his/her property together with the landlord's proof of residence.
  • and payslip

You will be required to complete a Credit application form which you can also download and fill in beforehand and bring it with you and the above documentation to complete your application.

  How long does it take to process My Edgars Credit application?

If all your documents are in order, your application will normally be processed between 48 hours and 5 working days.

  Which stores am I restricted to when I am purchasing using my Edgars Account? In which stores can I purchase with my Edgars Account?

You can purchase in any Edgars store across Zimbabwe using your Edgars account.

  Can I use my Edgars account to transact in a Jet store?

No, you can only purchase in Edgars stores. You are required to open a separate Jet account should you wish to purchase on credit at Jet.

  What if I want to open an Edgars Credit account but I don't have a payslip?

You can open an account Without a payslip. All you need is to bring the documents listed in Qstn 1 above, minus the payslip but also include a recent 3 month’s bank statement. No Payslip accounts are available at the following branches:

  • Edgars Bulawayo – J.Moyo Ave
  • Edgars Chiredzi
  • Edgars R Mugabe (Harare)
  • Edgars Kwekwe

  I would like to pay my monthly instalment remotely, how do I go about it?

Our purpose is to ensure that we bring convenience throughout your shopping experience with us. You may pay through our Ecocash Biller code 01262. The funds will be credited into your Account within 24 hours. You send an email to info@edgars.co.zw  to notify the Accounts team about the transaction.

  I would like a makeover, how do I qualify for one?

We believe that beauty is skin deep and our in-house stylist is here to give you some styling advice. To qualify for a makeover, you are supposed to be a Club member, then simply write a motivational letter and send it together with your pictures to theclub@edgars.co.zw

  If I would like to give you feedback regarding your service, merchandise or any information to do with my account to whom do I direct my communication?

Your feedback helps us to improve our operations. If you have any complaint/query/ compliment feel free to email our Customer Service team on info@edgars.co.zw. We will respond to your query within 48 hours.

  How do I become a model for Edgars?

For one to become a model the following are required.

Be of minimum height 1.7m for females (without shoes) and 1.8m for males. If you meet the above height requirements, send your personal profile or Z card which should include the following information:

i.    Full Name
ii.    Height
iii.    Age
iv.    Weight
v.    Dress, shirt or pant size
vi.    Shoe size
vii.    Clear full length picture
viii.    Close half shot picture
ix.    Full contact details

  What are your business hours?

We are open from Monday- Saturday (0900hrs-1800hrs) with the exception of Saturday where we close at 1600hrs.Also note that opening times vary with location, rural stores open at 0800. 

  I am yet to get a response to an email sent to info@edgars.co.zw, what could be the problem?

We usually respond within 48 hours, however in some instances we experience high volumes of enquiries and it could take longer before you are responded to. If your enquiry is urgent and you have not received any response within our set time frames, please send us a DM through our social media platforms and we will ensure your query is attended to. Visit our Facebook or Twitter . 

  If I see something I like in The Club magazine, on a press advert or catalogue but it`s not available in the Edgars branch I have visited what do I do?

Speak to the store Manager, who will facilitate the process of locating the item/s for you and transferring the product to a branch near you.

  What is your returns or exchange policy?

For returns-the item(s) should not be soiled,damaged or altered and must be accompanied by a receipt as proof of purchase to enable us to facilitate the returns process. For hygiene purposes we do not allow returns on underwear. 
For exchanges-You can bring the merchandise you want to exchange to any Edgars Store accompanied by a receipt. 

  I really want to work for Edgars, how do I apply for a job?

We are always excited to get new skills and different personalities to our amazing, big family-we are big on diversity. Submit the following to your nearest Edgars Stores:
•    CV
•    Cover letter
•    Copy of Zimbabwean ID
•    2 reference letters  from  school or previous employer
•    Copies of your academic qualifications – please note a pass in mathematics and English for O’ Levels is a must.
