Edgars Beauty Extravaganza Pampers Customers

The fifth semi-annual Edgars Beauty Extravaganza promotion, and the first of 2015, kicked off last week on 23rd March and will run until the 4th April. Launched in 2011, this promotion runs twice annually, and is a celebration of all things beauty-related. and a platform to educate customers about makeup, skin care, haircare and body care. Edgars houses many renowned cosmetic and fragrance brands that cater for all skin types and tones. During the Beauty ExtravaganzaCustomers can look forward to specials on all beauty and bodycare products, from makeup and skincare to fragrances for him and her.


As customers have come to expect, this edition of the Beauty Extravaganza comes with lots of exciting events to participate in. Saturday, 28th March was a special day with one such event. From 9am to 3pm, at the biggest Edgars branch- corner 8th Avenue/ Jason Moyo Bulawayo, Edgars hosted a street makeover activation right outside the store.  Customers came out for free makeovers by cosmetic houses, specials and gifts with purchases, freebies as well enjoying the entertainment provided by DJ Skhosana. Over 300 women walked away with a new look by Black Opal, Clairins, Estee Lauder, Flori Roberts and Sleek, as well as received beauty advice from Pond's and our own in-store beauty consultants. We are excited to host a similar event on 2nd April 2015 at our Stanley House (Harare) branch, corner First St/ Jason Moyo Avenue with more cosmetics houses present to work their magic and DJ Smooth in the house for entertainment.
The reason we have decided to do street makeovers is to add an element of excitement and freshness to the BE activation. We are experiencing such beautiful weather at the moment and this is perfect makeup weather. We are also using this as a call out to all Harare women, from all walks of life, to not shy away from getting a free facial.


The next edition of the Beauty Extravaganza will be held in November 2015 and will provide an exciting opportunity for customers to discover new fragrances and beauty products for the new season.
